My
work is concerned with those fundamental qualities found in nature,
which our senses enjoy. In particular, surface, texture, colour, smell,
pattern, temperature and movement. The work is sculptural yet functional,
sensual yet often containing amusing conceptual 'traps'. Each piece
is guaranteed unique and generally labour intensive. I use a wide
variety of materials including wood, bronze, glass, stone, steel and
leather; in fact anything that is appropriate. |
